It all started in the 90’s when a friend shipped a Scoby “mother” to founder Lupa Irie, ND who was raising her family in Jamaica West Indies. This started her passion for fermentation and Lupa has been brewing ever since !


Today Lupa’s Kitchen craft brews kombucha in the Atlanta Georgia area with the mother daughter team Claire & Lupa.
The flavoring profiles of Lupa’s Kitchen Kombucha is heavily influenced by their Caribbean background. Passion Fruit, Hibiscus, Ginger Tumeric, and Raspberry .


In 2018 with the motto GOOD VIBES .GOOD BOOCH. GOOD LIFE Lupa’s Kitchen became Georgia’s first locally brewed canned Kombucha . The pectin lined can offers the same great taste however, it is earth friendly and easy to recycle♻️ .

What is Kombucha & Why drink it?

Kombucha is a living health drink made by fermenting tea and sugar with the kombucha culture. The culture is often referred to as a “scoby” (symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeasts). Through the culturing process, there is a reduction of sugar and a release of friendly and beneficial bacteria, filling kombucha with loads of vitamins, minerals, enzymes and health-giving organic acids.

This ancient tonic, known as the "Tea of Immortality", dates back 2,000 years although the exact origins are unknown. Kombucha has been used in Japan, Russia and Eastern Europe for several centuries before traveling west to Germany where it was made popular in modern history for its uses in medicine.

Throughout its history, kombucha has been used as a long-term and daily treatment in a wide variety of diseases. While kombucha doesn't have a specific action for any particular illness, its systemic detox of the entire body through glucuronic acid has been observed to have many health benefits, such as higher energy levels, metabolic regulation, allergy relief, regulation of blood circulation, balance of blood pH and joint lubrication.

As a result of her vast scientific knowledge of combining foods for health, Lupa created a variety of kombuchas with a perfect pH and one-of-a-kind tastes. Lupa’s Kitchen kombucha is full of flavor, lacks the heavy vinegar taste and low in sugar associated with many of today’s kombuchas.
